DR.BRANDON L. HARDIN

FOUNDER & CEO
DIRECTOR OF INTEGRATED SPORTS MEDICINE & HUMAN PERFORMANCE

Dr. Hardin is a board certified Chiropractic Sports Medicine Physician accredited by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, National Academy of Sports Medicine, International Federation of Chiropractic Sports Physicians and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Hardin enjoys reading journal articles on concussion in sport and has recently been certified by the CDC as a Certified Concussion Specialists. He  practices in Gulfport specializing in the care for today's athlete. He is a team doctor for Gulfport School District Athletics and is a former Gulfport Police Department Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) Team medic. 

 

Dr. Hardin is a fourth generation chiropractor and has experience treating elite athletes from such organizations as MLB, the NFL and several collegiate teams. He is also honored to have spent time treating our veterans as part of a rotation at the Dallas VA Hospital. These experiences have given him an insight to the capabilities of the human body and its intricate works.

 

Dr. Hardin received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Physiology from Texas A&M University a second bachelors degree in health and wellness and went on to complete his Doctorate from Parker University in Dallas, Texas. He then completed a residency program in sports medicine and continues to pursue continuing education as medicine changes and evolves. 

Brandon Barna

COO & DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE
Bachelor of Science and Masters in Kinesiology & Exercise Science

 

Brandon is a Gulfport, Mississippi native and grew up in Orange Grove. He attended Harrison Central High School. He later attended Alcorn State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology/ pre-physical therapy and played baseball for four years. After his time at Alcorn State, he attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he earned his Master of Science in Kinesiology/ exercise science. While completing his master's degree, he was a part of the Harrison Central High School baseball coaching staff. Since the completion of his college baseball career, Brandon also served as an associate scout for the Atlanta Braves. He takes pride in his ability to relay the knowledge that he received from his time as an athlete and a scout to the young athletes that he trains and coaches. 

Shannon B. Doughty

DIRECTOR OF GROUP FITNESS

Shannon individualizes training and modifies every group exercise class she teaches to meet each participant’s needs and ability. As an instructor, Shannon will motivate and inspire you with energetic workouts, constant support and challenging routines. She will be a superior source of positive reinforcement and encouragement to you throughout the class. 

 

Philosophy: I believe that everyone at every fitness level can find the strength and drive within themselves to reach the goals they have set before them. Fitness is a lifestyle not just a short goal to reach. It becomes a part of who you are, and we can find that desire together! 

 

Client Base: Exercise has always been a part of my lifestyle but became a daily routine after my daughter was born. I then found a passion when someone else believed that I could become an instructor.  All ages, all fitness levels, and all experiences come together to have fun working out together.

 

Experience and Credentials: Shannon has been in the group fitness setting for over 20 years. She is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer,  PN1, AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor with specialties in Cycling, Fit TOUR, Zumba, HIIT, Yoga, Youth Group Fitness, Les Mills Body Pump, GRIT, and Cx Worx certifications. 

 

The past 24+ years she’s served as a Public School Educator, and she has taught First, Sixth, Eighth, and Ninth-Twelfth grades and served in administration for 5 years. She taught on the Community College level for over 11 years at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She has served as the cheer coach and currently serves as the girls powerlifting coach at Gulfport High School. 

 

Shannon is currently enrolled at the National Acadamy of Sports Medicine, where she is working toward additional certifications in Personal Training, Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement. She is also studying Precision Nutrition to gain certification in Nutrition Coaching.

DREW WELTER

DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES / PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST
BILOXI HIGH SCHOOL STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH

Born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi, Drew grew up participating in various sports including baseball, soccer, hockey and football. He attended Biloxi High School and was a member of the varsity baseball team from 2008-2010.

Following high school, Drew attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology. During his tenure at Southern Miss he assisted with both baseball and football strength and conditioning programs. After college Drew accepted a position as an intern at MS College in Jackson, MS to continue his education as a strength and conditioning coach. He worked under the sports performance director and assisted with baseball and football teams, while also running the girls soccer program. 

Drew specializes in athletic development across all ages or fitness levels working with clients ranging from 6-70 years old. He currently holds CSCS and USAW-1 certifications. 

SAMANTHA ULINE

PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST / MGCVC 17U HEAD COACH

Sam has more than 10 years of experience playing volleyball, claiming a State Championship in high school and a Division 1 athlete through college. She was named MVP of the New York State Championship in 2014. She lettered all four years in college at the University of New Orleans for indoor volleyball and lettered two years in beach volleyball.

She then graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2019 completing a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology. 

Sam has more than five years experience in the sports performance field through various internships and positions as a performance coach at the collegiate and high school levels as well as some private facilities. 

Sam holds a certificate in USA weightlifting Level 1 and is currently pursuing her CSCS certification.

She has also been named MGCVC 17U Head Coach!
