DR.BRANDON L. HARDIN
Director of Sports Medicine
Dr. Hardin is a board certified Chiropractic Sports Medicine Physician accredited by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, National Academy of Sports Medicine, International Federation of Chiropractic Sports Physicians and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Hardin enjoys reading journal articles on concussion in sport and has recently been certified by the CDC as a Certified Concussion Specialists. He practices in Gulfport specializing in the care for today's athlete. He is a team doctor for Gulfport School District Athletics and for the Gulfport Police Department Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) Team.
Dr. Hardin is a fourth generation chiropractor and has experience treating elite athletes from such organizations as MLB, the NFL and several collegiate teams. He is also honored to have spent time treating our veterans as part of a rotation at the Dallas VA Hospital. These experiences have given him an insight to the capabilities of the human body and its intricate works.
Dr. Hardin received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Physiology from Texas A&M University a second bachelors degree in health and wellness and went on to complete his Doctorate from Parker University in Dallas, Texas. He then completed a residency program in sports medicine.

Brandon is a Gulfport, Mississippi native and grew up in Orange Grove. He attended Harrison Central High School. He later attended Alcorn State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology/ pre-physical therapy and played baseball for four years. After his time at Alcorn State, he attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he earned his Master of Science in Kinesiology/ exercise science. While completing his master's degree, he was a part of the Harrison Central High School baseball coaching staff. Since the completion of his college baseball career, Brandon also served as an associate scout for the Atlanta Braves. He takes pride in his ability to relay the knowledge that he received from his time as an athlete and a scout to the young athletes that he trains and coaches.
Shannon B. Doughty
Director of Group Fitness
Shannon individualizes training and modifies every group exercise class she teaches to meet each participant’s needs and ability. As an instructor, Shannon will motivate and inspire you with energetic workouts, constant support and challenging routines. She will be a superior source of positive reinforcement and encouragement to you throughout the class.
Philosophy: I believe that everyone at every fitness level can find the strength and drive within themselves to reach the goals they have set before them. Fitness is a lifestyle not just a short goal to reach. It becomes a part of who you are, and we can find that desire together!
Client Base: Exercise has always been a part of my lifestyle but became a daily routine after my daughter was born. I then found a passion when someone else believed that I could become an instructor. All ages, all fitness levels, and all experiences come together to have fun working out together.
Experience and Credentials: Shannon has been in the group fitness setting for over 20 years. She is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, PN1, AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor with specialties in Cycling, Fit TOUR, Zumba, HIIT, Yoga, Youth Group Fitness, Les Mills Body Pump, GRIT, and Cx Worx certifications.
The past 24+ years she’s served as a Public School Educator, and she has taught First, Sixth, Eighth, and Ninth-Twelfth grades and served in administration for 5 years. She taught on the Community College level for over 11 years at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She has served as the cheer coach and currently serves as the girls powerlifting coach at Gulfport High School.
Shannon is currently enrolled at the National Acadamy of Sports Medicine, where she is working toward additional certifications in Personal Training, Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement. She is also studying Precision Nutrition to gain certification in Nutrition Coaching.
Director of Teams / Performance Specialist
Jacques Pucheu is a current MiLB player in the Cincinnati Reds Organization as a left-handed pitcher. Before signing with the Reds he was a local standout performer at West Harrison High School, as well as East Mississippi Community College before transferring to Austin Peay State University. During his three year tenure at Austin Peay, Jacques won seventeen games for the Governors while posting a 3.81 earned run average on his way to striking out 246 opposing hitters placing him 4th on the All-Time Strikeout list. He is the only Governor to strike out 100 opposing hitters in multiple seasons doing it in the back to back seasons in 2018 & 2019. He also holds the longest scoreless inning streak in school history. Upon graduating with his bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences with a minor in Coaching. Jacques signed. with the Cincinnati Reds where he played on season in their minor league system.
Jacques has years of experience as an athlete working with the Cincinnati Reds wellness staff daily and, learning hands on from NCAA Division 1 strength coaches in baseball and football. He also has experience coaching both of these sports at the high school level. He will be working with our Combine Time athletes, as well as Group Fitness and Personal Training.
